Fortra is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to support the business with our email marketing strategy. This individual will primarily work in our marketing automation tool, HubSpot, and support other lead generation and demand generation initiatives, as necessary. This position will support all product lines and is part of the demand generation team, reporting to the Marketing Manager.


  • Collaborate with brand marketing teams to plan and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Build and optimize email lists for high delivery and open rates
  • Schedule emails to our customers and prospects, daily
  • Analyze and report on email performance and overall email health scores and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Lead monthly marketing email calendar meetings where you share tips, tricks, process updates and other important email campaign info
  • Monitor the maintenance, security, and integrity of our HubSpot database
  • Monitor incoming email communication and route accordingly
  • Leverage existing technologies in our tech stack to assist with the team’s demand generation efforts
  • Assist with tactical marketing projects and assignments as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • At least one year of marketing experience
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, and/or similar marketing automation tool
  • Familiarity with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus
  • Experience working in a hi-tech organization is a plus
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing fundamentals
  • Self-starter, ability to initiate programs, and solve problems
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
