Job Purpose:
The Salesforce Administrator provides a critical service managing our instance of Salesforce. This position reports into the Revenue Operations organization and partners with our Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance departments to drive visibility and efficiencies to the business through Salesforce. She/He must possess strong communication skills while working cross-functionally. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate should have experience as a Salesforce Administrator, a Salesforce Certificate is a plus. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who collaborates well with the Business Application team and the rest of the organization, but also works well independently and has a high attention to detail.
What you'll do:
- Oversee Salesforce administration, configuration and data migration tasks based on input from key business stakeholders.
- Handle basic Salesforce user administration tasks including access management, permission sets, role assignments, uploads, data backups, sandbox, and the Internal Request case queue.
- Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, flows, sharing rules, etc.
- Monitor and analyze site metrics, system performance, and user activity.
- Provide first-level support to the users, including issue identification, and resolution/escalation.
- Maintain data quality through ongoing data analysis, record deduplication, and other related tasks, and identify and remediate break points or loopholes that contribute to bad data.
- Manage Salesforce integrations and partake in the decision process for incorporating new tools including evaluating 3rd party solutions and AppExchange packages as needed.
- Create and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, formulas of varying complexity, email templates, validation rules, and flows.
- Bulk data imports, data de-duplicate and cleansing (manually and using integrated tools)
- Provide application training and regularly communicate to business.
- Prepare proof of concepts based on business requirements.
- Configure Salesforce Objects, Fields, Flows, Approval Processes, etc. as needed
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve user issues with the application and reduce the incidence of user-reported issues
- Interface with Salesforce.com for 2nd level support
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred)
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Salesforce administrator
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting, custom fields, validation rules, page layouts, workflows and approvals
- Proficiency with Salesforce configuration and customization; including creation of standard and custom objects and fields
- Understanding of Salesforce technical requirements, system configuration, user requirements and all related policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of Process Builder and Flow in Salesforce
- Solid business analytical skills; be the system expert who guides business users to practical solutions using mostly standard application functionality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior skills in time management and multitasking, with the ability to handle urgent requests professionally.
- Previous experience directly supporting a sales organization preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented sales-driven environment.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Good to have (not mandatory):
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM201)
- Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
- Experience working with SteelBrick / Salesforce CPQ, CRM Analytics, Marketo, Outreach, Gong, Highspot, NetSuite, Ironclad
