The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/DevOps Engineer to join our team. As an SRE/DevOps Engineer at Observe.AI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.), and infrastructure automation tools to streamline our operations and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing developer productivity and managing our CI/CD pipelines.

What you’ll do day to day as a Senior DevOps Engineer

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, etc ...
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters to support our containerized applications
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud
  • Formation for automated provisioning and configuration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, performance, and availability
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and system outages in a 24/7 production environment
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and release processes

  • Champion best practices for developer productivity, code quality, and collaboration within development teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation best practices for security, compliance, and data protection

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 4+ years of proven experience as an SRE/DevOps Engineer
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certification) a plus
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management and orchestration
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Shell, Go).Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
