With the growing SaaS workload operating within cloud environments, we need strong Cloud Security Engineering leadership to align and enable the businesses goals. The Cloud Security team is responsible for aligning to ~300+ AWS accounts (~$30M annual spend), ~30+ Azure Tenants, as well as some GCP workloads. The criticality of securing our SaaS environments and services that includes all SaaS offerings and the Fortra Platform / Foundation are critical for success of the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the identification, analysis, and response to advanced security threats and incidents, including advanced persistent threats (APTs) and targeted attacks.
  • Lead and collaborate on cloud architecture design (e.g. AWS/Azure) and champion cloud security best practices
  • Conduct forensic analysis, malware reverse engineering, and threat hunting activities to proactively identify security risks.
  • Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead security assessments, including risk assessments, security audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and cybersecurity technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years hands on experience in security; Minimum 2 years in cloud security
  • Hands on experience with AWS and Azure
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.
  • Advanced skills in security analysis tools and techniques, such as malware analysis, packet analysis, and log analysis.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Certifications: AWS/Azure
