We are growing rapidly and need an experienced, innovative and results-oriented SDET (Software Developer in Test) Lead engineer to maintain the level of trust and delight for our awesome customers!

We are looking for a passionate Lead Performance Test Engineer to design and manage our load and performance test function. This position’s duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. In addition to maintaining our manual test suite, test developers build and execute test scripts for functional, integration, end-to-end and API testing of new features, regression testing and bug fixes. This role works closely with software engineers, fellow QA engineers, and business partners.

Ultimately, a top-notch Performance Test Engineer will be proficient in Test Automation in Cloud environments, using modern test frameworks like locust, k6. Proficient with NodeJS and/or Python with good decision making and communication skills.

In this role

• Designing and developing automated tests
• Iterating and Improving on automation frameworks and tools
• Translate performance testing requirements into real-life scenarios including performance regression tests, performance, load, stress, endurance as needed.
• Experience with performance tests as code in modern test frameworks such as K6 or Locust
• Precisely documenting defects including steps to reproduce, relative logs, and errors.
• Strong ability to provide result analysis including root-cause analysis, bottleneck identification, troubleshooting, capacity planning, etc.
• Deep understanding of web protocols such as HTTP, TCP, etc
• Strong knowledge of modern SaaS Application architecture

You have

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Previous experience as a Performance Test Engineer doing automation testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as NodeJS and Python.
• Good exposure to SaaS environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
