About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing company whose product is already deployed by 25% of Fortune 100 companies. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing within the cybersecurity, cloud, and SaaS industries. This role demands a balance of creativity, writing prowess, and a keen understanding of our customers and market. This PMM will play a crucial role in shaping our product messaging, refining customer feedback programs, differentiating our solutions in the market through messaging, and building enablement for our sales team.

What You’ll Do

  • Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and positioning that reflects customer insights and market research to uncover needs, preferences, and trends. Utilize these insights to differentiate AppOmni in the competitive landscape ensuring our value proposition resonates clearly with our target audiences through our content, website, and other channels.

  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of competitors and incumbents in the SSPM market, identifying their strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning. Use this knowledge to differentiate AppOmni and help the demand team develop targeted marketing campaigns and plays.

  • Market Education and Thought Leadership: Use market research and customer insights to lead educational and thought leadership initiatives. Drive awareness and amplify AppOmni's expertise and contributions to the SaaS security space, reinforcing our position as a market leader.

  • Customer Advocacy: Develop and manage a customer advocacy program that nurtures relationships with key customers, encourages testimonials and case studies, and amplifies positive customer experiences across marketing, product, and sales channels.

  • Sales Enablement and Support: Create and refine sales enablement materials based on customer feedback and competitive insights. Equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively communicate AppOmni's value and address customer concerns.

  • Product Launch Management: Assist with the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating across product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful market entry and adoption. This includes defining launch objectives, developing launch strategies, creating compelling launch content, and measuring launch impact to continuously refine our go-to-market approach.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, market research, or a related field, preferably in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective marketing strategies and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling messaging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.

AppOmni is committed to supporting our employee’s financial, professional and personal well-being. To do this, we take a holistic view of compensation, one that values not just the immediate financial package, but also long-term growth of both our employees and our company. We're committed to pay equity and transparency and encourage all candidates to discuss their salary expectations with us early in the application process.

Our total rewards package includes the following:

  • Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $138,000 - $190,000 USD. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as the final candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business considerations and peer compensation.
