  • Drive product development in line with established success criteria based on the technical needs of our customers; work with design on delivering solutions that are intuitive and delightful.
  • Security Settings Identification and Prioritization: Identify and prioritize which SaaS application settings are crucial for security and articulate the reasons for their importance or lack thereof.
  • Policy Definition: Define AppOmni’s security posture opinions on identified settings and ensure they are integrated into new or existing policies in the policy library.
  • API and Permission Documentation: Determine the necessary APIs for data collection and document the required permissions to make these API calls.
  • Remediation Guidance: Provide clear remediation steps to update settings, including any concerning combinations of settings that need to be addressed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly update and enhance the security posture of existing SaaS applications, ensuring timely adaptation to new releases and changes.
  • Collaborative Integration: Work closely with the engineering team to integrate research findings into the product effectively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including product managers and engineers, to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends, threats, and best practices in SaaS security to maintain and enhance AppOmni’s competitive edge.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of research findings, policies, and remediation steps for both internal and external use.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of SaaS application security, with the ability to identify critical security settings and articulate their importance.
  • Experience in defining and implementing security posture policies and integrating them into policy libraries.
  • Proficiency in API documentation and determining necessary permissions for data collection.
