About the Job

Demandbase is entering a major inflection point as we bring next-generation AI capabilities to market and elevate how customers experience our platform. The VP of Solutions Consulting will be a key leader shaping how we position, demonstrate, and operationalize this new product era.

This role is a critical leadership opportunity to build and scale an AI-driven customer experience function that shapes how Demandbase brings its next-generation product vision to market. You will set the standard for value-focused discovery, product storytelling, and deal strategy, operating as the executive leader overseeing forecasting quality and strategic opportunity evaluation.

The VP of Solutions Consulting will lead the next evolution of the organization by accelerating our shift toward outcome-based storytelling that enables customers to clearly see the possibilities and impact our platform can unlock.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI go-to-market readiness: Lead the development of frameworks, demo strategies, and customer experience motions that operationalize Demandbase’s next-generation AI product across the full deal cycle.

  • Value-driven storytelling excellence: Elevate how Solutions Consulting communicates value by establishing a repeatable, outcome-based storytelling model that helps customers clearly visualize the impact of adopting Demandbase.

  • Forecasting and deal strategy influence: Serve as the executive voice on opportunity qualification and deal strategy by improving forecasting rigor, strengthening opportunity evaluation, and guiding high-stakes pursuits.

  • Organizational performance and scalability: Build a consistent operating rhythm for the SC function by defining expectations for discovery, demo preparation, rehearsal, delivery quality, and cross-functional alignment with sales.

  • Talent development and leadership impact: Develop SC leaders and team members by setting clear performance expectations, coaching them on emerging AI-centric motions, and fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, or solution architecture for enterprise SaaS, ideally within MarTech, AdTech, or B2B data platforms, with 10+ years in leadership and scaling roles

  • Proven competence with modern AI technologies, including agentic workflows, AI-driven product experiences, and the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear customer value.Deep understanding of ABM, B2B marketing technology stacks, identity resolution, intent data, and data integration patterns.

  • Proven ability to foster a win together mentality, creating strong collaboration and shared success across peers, executives, and cross-functional teams.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations such as CRM (Salesforce), MAPs (Marketo or Eloqua), DSPs, CDPs, and modern cloud architectures.

  • Strong business acumen and leadership, with the ability to build ROI and business cases, quantify value, and communicate outcomes to executive stakeholders.

  • Experience designing and delivering complex POCs and reference architectures for enterprise buyers.

  • Excellent people leadership capabilities, including hiring, coaching, and developing technical teams.

  • Outstanding communication skills and executive presence, with comfort leading technical briefings and negotiating scope with procurement and IT stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
