You pride yourself on driving efficiency – through analytics, automation, and user experience – to make defenders’ jobs easier so that they can quickly and effectively identify and block email-based attacks.

As an MDR Services PM responsible for Managed Phishing, you are responsible for Expel’s end-to-end managed email security solutions. You own Expel’s Point of View on what a compelling, differentiated, and profitable solution looks like, and you believe the buck stops with you. You drive our email security strategy, and through effective communication and project leadership, you ensure that cross-functional teams are aligned on our mission and rowing in the same direction. You understand that even the best planned projects occasionally have “known unknown” surprises, but your attention to detail means we catch these quickly. In these scenarios, your strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills enable us to rapidly adapt to keep the project on track and keep stakeholders aligned.

• Take ownership of the vision and roadmaps for our managed email security offerings.
• Contribute to running a cross-functional team (Product Management, Detection Strategy, UX, Engineering, Sales).
• Establish relationships with customers and use their input to distill the many requests into a roadmap that achieves maximum impact.
• Balance a PM’s responsibility for both short term and long term results.

What you should bring with you

• A curious, tenacious, and discerning mentality.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate across the organization, knowing when to adjust your style based on your audience
• Familiarity with product management and software engineering processes, from defining and prioritizing requirements through to software deployment and product launches.
• Attention to detail to ensure that cross-functional development teams have thorough requirements with clear delivery milestones
• Understanding of fundamental SaaS business metrics (Annual Recurring Revenue, Net Revenue Retention, Gross Margin, Net Sales Efficiency) and ways to influence each one
• Strong understanding of information security, security technologies, products and services.
• Ability to build trust and appreciation with individual contributors and leaders across product management, engineering, security operations, business systems, sales, customer success, and technical support.

Additional notes

The base salary range for this role is between $134,700 USD and $195,300 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
