HUMAN

HUMAN

New York, NY, USA
Posted on Dec 6, 2024
HUMAN was founded in 2012 in a Brooklyn sci-fi bookstore by Tamer Hassan, Michael Tiffany, Dan Kaminsky, and Ash Kalb. Our humble beginnings led to the creation of the Human Defense Platform, the backbone of all our products that safeguards enterprises from sophisticated bots, fraud, and account abuse. Today we verify the humanity of more than 20 trillion interactions per week for some of the largest companies and internet platforms.
Our hacker roots still permeate everything we do. You will be a part of the HUMAN front line in our commitment to protecting companies (and in turn, their customers) from both revenue and reputation risk caused by digital attacks. However, HUMAN is not the center of this story. Humans like yourself are. We firmly believe in putting people first. This approach spans our extensive total rewards package, inclusive of competitive compensation, benefits, stipends - as well as our day-to-day culture - to ensure every human is empowered to do the best work of their life. We want to hear about the marathon you’re training for. We want to see pictures of your pets. We want to know your favorite robot (we have many).
Even if you’re not a conventional “hacker” we can assure you that you are a hacker in your own right. We want to work with people like you who break down problems to build up better solutions. That’s what makes us HUMAN. You’ll be joining us at an exciting moment in the HUMAN story: we joined forces with PerimeterX in a market-changing merger, as well as recently acquired clean.io to enhance the Human Defense Platform. Together under the HUMAN brand, we will disrupt the economics of cybercrime. We hope you can join us in that mission.
As a Channel Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying technical solutions based on Human Security's technology stack, collaborating with our channel partners to ensure they can effectively integrate, deploy, and manage fraud prevention and security solutions. You will work closely with partner teams, sales, engineering, and product management to align our security technologies with the business and technical needs of our partner ecosystem.
This role requires deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, fraud prevention strategies, and behavioral biometrics, as well as excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders in the partner organizations.

What you'll do:

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Collaborate with channel partners to design tailored, scalable, and high-impact security solutions based on Human Security's fraud prevention platform, leveraging AI and behavioral biometrics to detect and prevent threats.
  • Partner Enablement: Provide technical training, resources, and best practices to help partners integrate, deploy, and optimize Human Security’s solutions. Ensure that partners have the knowledge and tools to effectively sell and support our platform.
  • Pre-sales Engagement: Work with the sales team to engage with partners during the sales cycle, providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and assistance with RFP responses. Help partners understand how Human Security solutions solve their customers' unique fraud prevention challenges.
  • Solution Optimization & Customization: Work with partners to customize and fine-tune the Human Security platform to meet specific partner or customer requirements, ensuring optimal integration with their existing systems and workflows.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Escalation: Assist partners in troubleshooting complex technical issues, providing guidance on how to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner. Escalate issues to internal teams when necessary to ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Integration Guidance: Provide best practice guidance on integrating Human Security’s platform into partners' technology stacks, including APIs, SDKs, and fraud prevention workflows.
  • Strategic Consulting: Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them develop a comprehensive fraud prevention strategy and ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and industry best practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams to communicate partner needs, provide feedback on product development, and ensure the solutions meet the market's evolving security demands.
  • Security Insights & Trends: Stay up-to-date on emerging fraud trends, security technologies, and regulatory changes, providing valuable insights and recommendations to partners to stay ahead of evolving threats.
  • Documentation & Resources: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, solution guides, implementation best practices, and case studies that will help partners successfully deploy and manage Human Security solutions.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in a solution architect or pre-sales technical role within cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or identity protection.
  • Proven experience working with channel partners to deliver technical solutions, ideally in a fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or SaaS context.
  • Strong experience with technical sales, solution design, and integrating security technologies into partner or customer environments.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and fraud prevention technologies, including AI-driven fraud detection, behavioral biometrics, device fingerprinting, and user authentication solutions.
  • Experience with common identity protection and fraud prevention technologies (e.g., multi-factor authentication, machine learning models, threat intelligence).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance and security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation and demo skills to effectively showcase how Human Security’s solutions address specific partner and customer pain points.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and develop creative solutions that balance security and user experience.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A strong focus on delivering value to partners and customers, ensuring that security solutions are both effective and user-friendly.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams (sales, product, engineering, support) to drive partner success and meet business goals.

Certs:

  • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or fraud prevention (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Certified Fraud Examiner, AWS Certified Security Specialty).
  • Familiarity with security certifications like ISO 27001 or SOC 2 is a plus.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Experience working in fraud prevention, digital identity protection, or cybersecurity, especially in SaaS or cloud-based environments.
  • Familiarity with financial services, e-commerce, or any industry where online fraud is a major concern.
