We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to provide on-site repair and maintenance support for our robots at customer locations. This role involves extensive regional travel, with additional opportunities for nationwide travel.

We are accepting candidates in Louisville, Atlanta, and Dallas.

This role requires approximately 75% US regional travel with up to 25% overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance for robots and charging stations.
  • Troubleshoot and execute on-site repairs, including preparation and necessary equipment management.
  • Conduct onsite testing and physical inspections of robots to diagnose root causes and perform necessary repairs and validation.
  • Manage and nurture on-site customer relationships, ensuring smooth and efficient robotic operations.
  • Assist customers with handling non-hardware-related escalations on-site.
  • Analyze robot data to identify early signs of component degradation.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Complete service reports and manage support tickets in Salesforce.
  • Provide additional remote technical support and Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a similar hands-on technical role or demonstrable technical aptitude. Robot-specific training will be provided.
  • A valid US driver's license.
  • Proficient with mechanical hand tools and multimeters.
  • Prior experience in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50lbs.
  • Must have the ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift, walk, and reach as part of the job requirements.
  • Maintains a strong work ethic and a consistent attendance record.
  • Must be adaptable to working in warehouses that may or may not be climate controlled.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong problem-solving ability in both independent and customer-facing scenarios.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
