Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our AP Integrations Team at Montopay. You will be part of a growing group of developers that builds integrations and custom AI Agents to streamline invoice processing across accounts payable portals. The integrations we build already process thousands of invoices daily across multiple platforms, acting on behalf of suppliers to eliminate manual work and accelerate payments. You will join the developers behind these solutions as we scale and take on increasingly complex challenges.What You’ll Do:- Develop new integrations using Puppeteer, Playwright, and custom AI Agents built on LangGraph to automate invoice processing and data extraction across accounts payable portals- Improve existing integrations, enhancing performance, reliability, and code quality- Contribute to observability by improving monitoring, logging, and alerting systems- Work independently and take end-to-end ownership from problem definition through rollout- Manage priorities effectively, balancing speed and quality while keeping stakeholders informed- Collaborate with engineers constructively—give and receive feedback, raise concerns early- Partner across time zones and disciplines, align on priorities, and unblock others when neededRequirements:- 7+ years of professional software development experience- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field- Proven track record in web automation, backend, or full-stack engineering- Strong backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript- Hands-on experience with Puppeteer or Playwright- Solid understanding of modern web technologies and principles- Experience with MongoDB or other document databases- Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda)- Experience with Docker and containerized environments- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Sentry)- Ability to design, build, and maintain production-grade systems end-to-endNice‑to‑Have- Experience building or working with AI Agents- Experience with LangGraph / LangChain- Experience in prompt engineering- Experience evaluating and testing AI systems- Frontend development experience
