Job DescriptionMonto is looking for a Business Operations Lead to join our Operations team. As Monto continues to grow, we’re processing millions of transactions across hundreds of customers. We’re looking for someone to build the operational foundation that will help us scale efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving processes, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment. You will own the design, measurement, and continuous improvement of our operational processes, lead a team directly, and work cross-functionally to eliminate inefficiencies, improve throughput, and build scalable systems. What You’ll Do- Own end-to-end operational processes, define, document, measure, and continuously improve how we work- Lead a direct team while working cross-functionally across multiple operational domains- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in current workflows and drive structured solutions- Build and maintain operational metrics and KPIs that give real-time visibility into performance- Establish SLA frameworks and ensure operational reliability at scale- Collaborate closely with Product and R&D to translate operational pain points into product improvements- Drive a culture of process excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the operations organization Requirements- 8+ years of proven experience leading operational processes in a high-scale environment- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and improve complex business processes- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data and metrics into actionable decisions.- Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders- Excellent communication skills, able to align people around a shared vision and drive change- Ability to work independently, take full ownership, and execute in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-Have- Experience in B2B fintech or payments environments- Technical background or comfort with operational tooling, automation, and data systems- Exposure to product management or product operations, understanding how ops and product intersect- Experience working in high-growth startup environments Why Join Monto?- Help shape how operations scale at one of the fastest-growing fintech startups- Work at the intersection of Operations, Product, and R&D, with real influence on how the company scales- Lead a team with high ownership and the freedom to make an impact- Solve operational challenges that have a direct impact on our customers and business- Join a highly collaborative team that moves fast and values execution
