About the Role:

The Creative Director at Motive is a senior-level role within the marketing department, responsible for overseeing and leading the creative team in conceptualizing, developing, and executing various visual and creative projects. The role of a Creative Director will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's identity and requires a strong blend of creative thinking, leadership skills, strategic vision, and effective communication.

What You'll Do:

  • Creative Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear creative vision and strategy for projects, campaigns, or brand initiatives. Ensure that all creative work aligns with the overall brand identity and business goals.
  • Concept Development: Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative and impactful ideas for marketing campaigns, advertisements, designs, and other creative projects.

  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor the creative team, including graphic designers, copywriters, art directors, and other creative professionals. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality work output.

  • Project Direction: Provide creative direction for projects from inception to completion. Ensure that the final output reflects the original concept and meets the client's or company's expectations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, marketing teams, account managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences.

  • Collaborate to develop effective creative solutions that resonate with the audience.

  • Design and Art Direction: Contribute to the design process by offering insights and expertise on visual aesthetics, layout, typography, and overall design principles.

  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent branding across all creative materials, ensuring that the visual identity aligns with the brand guidelines.

  • Quality Control: Review and approve creative work to ensure it meets high standards of quality, creativity, and relevance.

  • Presentation Skills: Present creative concepts and strategies to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams in a compelling and articulate manner.

  • Inspiration and Motivation: Inspire and motivate the creative team to push creative boundaries and achieve outstanding results.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in a marketing leadership role
  • Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn an idea into a visual piece
  • A solid understanding of design, copy and web practices
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:
$156,000$210,000 USD
