About the Role:

With a strong focus on customer service, the People Operations Specialist will ensure a seamless and positive experience throughout an employee's career at Motive. The Specialist will deliver our new hire orientation and ensure employees have a great onboarding experience. They will manage and maintain our HRIS and employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. Continuously seeking to improve processes for scalability and efficiency, the Specialist will better serve the global Motive team. As the frontline point person for employee questions on all HR topics, they will provide answers and triage inquiries to functional HR experts as needed. Additionally, the Specialist will oversee new hire orientation, onboarding, and off-boarding processes to ensure a great experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a positive experience. Manage new hire communication, schedule logistics, and serve as the main point of contact for all new employees.

  • Work with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely employee onboarding process, ensuring the completion of all necessary new hire documentation (e.g., Form I-9, e-Verify).

  • Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process.

  • Collaborate with HR team members to continuously improve onboarding procedures and enhance the overall employee experience.

  • Respond to employee inquiries, acting as an initial resource for employees' questions around a wide range of HR topics

  • Serve as initial client point of contact for assigned case matters by communicating with Internal counsel, managers, HRBPs, external counsel, and other leaders regarding required documentation, and case status.

  • Handle employee transactions in our HRIS system, ensuring all data is accurately entered and maintained.

  • Manage termination processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • You have 3+ years experience as an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or a similar role, preferably in the technology industry

  • You have superior written, verbal communication and high attention to detail.

  • You enjoy working in a team, partnering with the rest of the People team as well as stakeholders across Motive.

  • You have 1+ years of Workday experience a plus

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or great People Ops experience!

  • Capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • A strong dedication to teamwork and an eagerness to meet deadlines

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:
$51,000$78,000 USD
