About the Role:
The Finance team is searching for an entry level analyst who will be a key participant in assisting with various aspects of sales compensation. This will include understanding multiple plans and calculation methods, reporting and analysis of actuals, and communication with stakeholders of all levels across Motive. You will be in charge of the accuracy and timeliness of accruals and payouts for the entire sales organization. This role will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both sales commissions and reporting with the ability to make a meaningful impact throughout Motive’s operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to pay, comp plan, hierarchies and quota dispute or inquiries posed by the sales team in a timely manner
- Track metrics in regards to inquiries/disputes time
- Administer and maintain the commissions system, Xactly, in order to produce accurate and timely payouts
- Identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and track progress around sales performance and related expenses such as commissions, SPIFF, and other bonuses
What We’re Looking For:
- 0-2 years of experience, experience in Xactly, Oracle or Salesforce a huge plus
- Extensive experience in both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Able to maintain confidentiality in regards to sensitive pay information
- Exceptional writing skills, knowing your audience and how to communicate with them is of the utmost importance
- Desire to grow beyond your current skills and develop your craft within the organization
