As a fast-growing company making an impact every day, we are looking for a Software Test/Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA Engineer) to join our team for a 4 month assignment. As an SQA Engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You’ll contribute to both manual and automated testing, help build our test automation framework, and support continuous improvement in our software validation process. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing to verify that software meets functional and performance requirements
- Develop and maintain test plan, test cases, and test scripts for new features and regression
- Collaborate with developers and systems engineers to reproduce, diagnose, and track software defects
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test scripts using framework such as Playwright
- Participate in test execution, documentation, and reporting, ensuring test results are clearly communicated
- Support the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation coverage
- Contribute to establishing best practices, tools and procedures, and test protocols for SQA
- Work with SWE, SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration and Testing) and other teams to validate new software on simulators, test stands, and systems
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree program
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance role
- Experience working with Linux or Windows operating systems
- Working knowledge of scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation or data validation tasks
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium or similar)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with great attention to detail
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable performing manual testing when required
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) or other bug-tracking systems is a plus
- Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail) is highly desired
- Experience with and/or a strong passion for robotic systems, computer vision, or AI-based applications
