About the Role

As Proscia’s Sales Associate, Life Sciences (Emerging Biotech), your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead sales to the life sciences segments (Pharma, CROs and biotech companies) of Emerging Biotech accounts in the Western US.
  • Develop and execute a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the territory across Emerging Biotech accounts in the Western US. Contribute to business growth by exceeding quota expectations.
  • Initialize and coordinate all efforts to prioritize accounts assigned to you to maximize the opportunity for the sale of Proscia's life sciences portfolio. Note that account management is not only limited to your territory in Emerging Biotech accounts in the Western US, and can be global in nature, expanding the revenue & bookings potential for you.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve relations with all relevant accounts to keep or to set Proscia as the preferred supplier. Ensure continuity of the relationship and operate at the highest level in the accounts' organizations, facilitating the executive level interfaces.
  • Accurately complete and maintain sales forecast, customer data and other records in an orderly and timely fashion (SFDC).
  • Provide active inputs into local marketing strategies.
  • Participate in monitoring and reporting on the activities of competitors, potential collaborators, as well as identifying business opportunities.

What are We Seeking?

We’re looking for people who are smart, nice, & hungry. To be successful in this role, you shall have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3-4 years of proven experience in software sales to life sciences Organizations.
  • Proven ability to target key accounts, while also managing the entire territory, and identifying market potential.
  • Preference shall be given to candidates with experience selling software into the life sciences R&D space.
  • Proven network with senior leadership in Pharma and CROs is a certain plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in bioinformatics, digital pathology (or oncology broadly), image analysis, data management, and AI solutions is a certain plus but not a must have.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform against established performance goals and metrics.
  • Willing to undertake significant travel (minimum 35-40%).
  • Willingness to independently work in a non-hierarchical company.
  • Ability and curiosity to learn.
  • Fluent in business English, verbal and written.
