About the Role
PubNub is looking for a highly organized, execution-focused Event Coordinator (Part-Time) to own the end-to-end logistics and post-event lead lifecycle for our global marketing events.
Sitting within the Marketing organization and reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be the dedicated owner of PubNub’s event execution and post-event lead management. You’ll support approximately three marketing-sponsored events per quarter, ensuring flawless execution while enabling our senior marketing team to stay focused on scalable demand generation.
Success in this role looks like seamless onsite or virtual event execution, clean and timely lead routing, and smooth coordination between Marketing, Sales, and SDR teams. Key Responsibilities
Event Ownership
- Own all logistical “heavy lifting” for ~3 marketing-sponsored events per quarter
- Act as the primary point of contact for event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
CRM & Lead Management
- Ensure all event leads are accurately captured, cleaned, and routed via Marketo
- Own the lead process end-to-end, from the event floor or virtual booth through to the SDR team
Sales Enablement
- Coordinate event collateral and sales support materials
- Ensure sales attendees (“floor walkers”) are fully equipped with the right digital and physical assets
Global Coordination

Collaborate across global time zones, including early mornings for APAC and evenings for the Americas
Vendor Management
- Independently manage relationships with event organizers and logistics vendors
- Ensure all PubNub requirements are delivered on time and within budget
Onsite Support (Optional)

Occasionally travel within Europe to provide onsite event coordination and support
Process Optimization

Continuously improve PubNub’s event playbook to drive efficiency and consistency across sponsored and sales-attended events
About You
Minimum Requirements
- Event Experience: 2+ years of hands-on event coordination experience, ideally in a B2B environment
- Sales Process Literacy: Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and how event data flows into CRM systems
- Logistical Autonomy: Proven ability to manage vendors, deadlines, and high-pressure situations independently
- Timezone Flexibility: Comfortable working a part-time schedule (16–24 hours/week) that spans APAC and Americas time zones from a European base
- Exceptional Organization: Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong bias toward execution
Additional Requirements / Nice to Have
- Marketo & Salesforce Familiarity: Prior experience with Marketo and/or Salesforce for lead management or basic marketing automation
- SaaS / Tech Background: Experience working in a B2B SaaS or technology company
- Adaptable Communicator: Collaborative, growth-minded, and confident in ensuring stakeholders follow established processes
