Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Procurement, manages the day-to-day activities of the sourcing, planning, negotiating, and contracting for SaaS systems and services across Socure. The individual in this role partners and collaborates with business teams across the vendor lifecycle to bring strategic thought leadership in purchasing/sourcing plans, demand management, contract management, and supplier management. In addition, the role is responsible for researching price discrepancies and analyzing data for presentation to key stakeholders.

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate and improve procurement processes and oversee the implementation of efficient systems to streamline operations.

  • Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers to maximize cost savings.

  • Work with multiple departments to help facilitate the purchase of goods and services, including overseeing the approval process and communication workflows for establishing new vendors.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce overall procurement expenses.

  • Provide valuable and actionable data to support year-over-year cost savings and cost avoidance.

  • Lead supplier identification, approval, contract/pricing negotiations, and vendor relations.

  • Collaborate with budget owners and requesters in preparing requests for proposals (RFP), procurement contracts, amendments, and other related procurement documents.

  • Monitor and manage supplier relationships.

  • Manage savings targets to ensure savings are achieved via the implementation of strategy.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

  • A minimum of 7 years in Operations, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement, and 3 years in management experience.

  • Strong negotiation skills, specifically with SaaS vendors and external agencies.

  • Detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

  • Excellent time management and organization skills.

  • Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as leadership capabilities.

  • Strong analytical skills (researching, analyzing, and interpreting data).

  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS company preferred.

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $140,000 - $165,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
