With the company growing very fast and our customer needs even faster, the only way for us to succeed in our mission is to significantly scale how we work with data and build our ML models.

As the Senior Manager of Computer Vision, Applied AI, you will spearhead our Computer Vision and Data Science (CV/DS) team, driving innovation and excellence in document verification technologies. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance our capabilities in detecting and preventing fraud while ensuring a seamless user experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the CV/DS team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Contribute to the development and optimization of our CV and applied AI projects. This includes writing code, reviewing algorithms, and ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technologies into our solutions.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in modern AI with an emphasis on computer vision and multi-modality models, integrating relevant technologies into our solutions.

• Adapt at translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies and be capable of rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot and solve challenging problems directly alongside their team.

• Drive the strategy and development of our DocV product, ensuring it meets the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, sales, and marketing, to align vision and execution.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of machine learning models and algorithms tailored to document verification.

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, from research and development to deployment and performance monitoring.

• Communicate technical concepts and project milestones to stakeholders at all levels.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in developing and implementing DocV solutions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience

• 3+ years of technical leadership experience in AI/ML/DS

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Physics, or a related field.

• Deep knowledge of modern AI model architectures

• Hands-on experience with multi-modality models - modalities include vision, language, layout, and tabular data.

• Proven experience in leading computer vision or data science teams, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.

• Experience running computer vision algorithms server side at scale, and on the mobile device client side

• Comfortable providing recommendations and identifying risks and mitigation plans

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate multiple projects at a time, including proven ability to use resources effectively and efficiently

• A customer-first mindset and ability to communicate complex technical concepts with individuals across varying levels and functions of the organization

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, while building and conveying compelling value propositions

• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

• Experience building SaaS products at scale in a regulated environment is a plus

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $180,000 - $235,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
