You can expect to be writing code across the entire stack (but with a focus on the front-end), discussing architecture and design, creating revolutionary user experiences, and helping customers be successful. Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of our front-end systems to enable quick and stable feature development across the team

• Participate in the architecture and design of our front-end

• Deliver industry leading UI/UX

• Demonstrate technical excellence resulting in scalable, reliable, performant, and maintainable services

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership on requirements and solutions

• Write high-quality code and tests

• Work within an agile framework to continuously deliver quality software

• Assist in the operation of the service, e.g., monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting

• Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to standards

• Communicate clearly about what you need to perform your best

• Occasionally work with customers on support issues

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building complex, real-time, multiplayer web applications

• Proficiency with Vue, Tailwind, Typescript, and WebSockets

• Proficiency with creating comprehensive front-end test suites (ex: Cypress)

• Familiarity with Rust and PostgreSQL, or a desire to learn both

• Familiarity with a variety of technologies we use, such as NodeJS, Pinia, Konva, NATS, Auth0, Github, and Honeycomb

• Experience with SAML, OAuth, and/or OpenID Protocols

• Leadership qualities: initiative, ownership, high standards

• Experience working with an empowered UX Director

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Can-do attitude, humility, and open-mindedness

• Enjoys working collaboratively in a small team with high trust

• Perform well given a high level of independence and autonomy

• Enjoys working with a fully distributed team

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range: $150K - $220K

• Stock Option range: .15% - .20% Fully Diluted

• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), etc.

• An accrual paid time off (PTO) policy of 24 days per calendar year. We encourage all employees to take one week of PTO per quarter, where they unplug entirely

• Winter Break - 12/26 - 12/31, except for folks on-call

• Home office and equipment stipend. Just articulate what you need and we’ll take care of it

• You can live anywhere, but your working hours will overlap with a 9 am - 6 pm Pacific Time Zone schedule by ~6 hours
