Today, we help platform and infrastructure teams deliver secure connectivity and visibility by default—so developers can move quickly, and businesses can stay compliant without compromise.

We’re now extending this leadership into AI. In partnership with Bloomberg, we launched Envoy AI Gateway, helping large enterprises adopt LLMs and GenAI tools with the right governance, policy enforcement, and security in place.

We’re looking for a Sales Leader to lead our next phase of growth. You’ll be building a sales engine around a product that already has deep enterprise traction, clear technical credibility, and expanding relevance in AI, financial services, and government markets.

If you’ve ever wanted to sell a product buyers already trust, at a moment where market timing matters—this is that moment.

Responsibilities:

  • You’re responsible for the number—new business, expansion, retention—and you know how to keep the motion tight and focused. When something’s off, you spot it early and course-correct fast.
  • You’ve sold before. Really sold. Prospected, closed, and built pipeline from zero. You expect the same from your team, and you lead by showing—not telling—what good execution looks like.
  • You build teams that deliver. You hire for capability, set clear expectations, and stay close enough to step in when execution slips. You create the kind of focus that holds even when priorities shift.

Required Qualifications:

  • You’ve carried a number. You’ve closed deals you had no business winning. You’ve prospected from scratch, chased silence, and turned cold leads into real revenue. That’s the kind of experience we value—because that’s what it takes to lead here.
  • This isn’t a “strategic leadership” role in name only. You’ll be expected to lead from the front—showing the team what good looks like because you’ve done it, not because you read about it. You know how to keep a team focused when the motion breaks, the market shifts, or the excuses start piling up.
  • You’ve built and led high-output sales teams through real growth—tight cycles, moving targets, shifting product. You’ve developed people, held the bar, and stayed close enough to know when it’s time to coach vs. when it’s time to close.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales, with experience in security, application networking.
