Senior Manager, Marketing Operations - Temporary Position

The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations will concentrate on developing and implementing high-level strategies, operational procedures, and best practices to promote scalability and efficiency across the entire marketing department.
This role serves as a bridge between Marketing Programs, Field Marketing, Operations, and Revenue Marketing, leading optimization projects, setting requirements, and developing strategic workflows and processes.
A successful candidate must have superior knowledge and experience on leading Marketing planning and processes, and technologies that support the day-to-day marketing operations, including top, middle and bottom of the funnel; deep expertise of managing marketing workflows, experience with directing a team of marketing experts.
This position is temporary for a duration of 6-8 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the team of marketing service providers, managing marketing technologies and automation-related processes to ensure seamless operation and execution
  • Implement efficient workflows and establish innovative working procedures to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the marketing department
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of marketing operations team
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, design scalable solutions, and document procedures to enhance the marketing team's efficiency and foster alignment within the department
  • Oversee the management and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Lead the daily execution of marketing initiatives, driving transparency, urgency, and accountability around key marketing projects
  • Understand, simplify, and prioritize both technical and business requests

Experience:

  • +10 years experience with marketing operations, marketing strategies and planning, or marketing shared services
  • Deep knowledge on MarTech including Salesforce, Pardot and overall familiarity of the Salesforce ecosystem; certification is a plus
  • Experience with Account-based Marketing practices and tools (DemandBase, 6sense) would be a strong advantage
  • Experience with agile (and similar) methodologies
  • Strong project management skills to implement cross functional change and coordinate cross functional teams
  • Ability to build relationships that enable cross-collaboration with Operations senior management, and cross functional stakeholders
  • Hands-on, analytical thinker, confident and self-starter
